The iR3570 drives workgroup productivity

Business today demands maximum uptime and optimum utilisation from resources. That's why we developed the imageRUNNER iR3570 multifunction device. It provides all the intelligent features of higher speed imageRUNNER devices, however at 35 pages per minute it's an economical choice for busy workgroups. So you can be sure your investment won't be under-utilised. Clever design has seen the paper path dramatically shortened, thus creating a first copy out time of just 3.9 seconds. The iR3570 also features the world's first 1,000 sheet internal finisher with stapling, hole-punching and dual tray option. Installing this unit doesn't increase the machine's footprint making it ideal for busy office environments where space is short. Energy efficiency has been boosted by Canon's new generation On-Demand fixing system which requires far less energy than conventional methods. The iR3570 uses just 1.5W in sleep mode and takes just 10 seconds to return to normal operation.

The iR3570 incorporates Canon's Java-based open platform technology (MEAP). This break-through enables embedded software applications to run directly from the device, allowing it to be customised to automatically deal with documents in different ways to suit your organisation's processes.

3rd generation imageRUNNER architecture

Driving the iR3570's outstanding muti-tasking capabilities is the Canon's unique imageRUNNER controller architecture. Consisting of a 300MHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and a 20GB hard disk, this power plant has the ability to efficiently control and process all user operations simultaneously. Connectivity has also been enhanced with a standard 10/100BaseTX ethernet card and high speed USB 2.0 interface.

Smart multi-destinational network scanning

Universal Send makes it easy to convert hard-copy documents into digital files for sending to one or many destinations. With this unique feature, you can scan, save and instantly send documents in any of five file formats, including TIFF, MTIFF and PDF

With the Searchable PDF option, users can automatically add an OCR layer inside their scanned documents to enable full text searching in Adobe Acrobat/Reader across a single document or an entire database.

Adding yet more functionality to Universal Send's powerful feature-set, the Encrypted PDF option allows users to create password-controlled, encrypted PDF documents right from the device.

Felxible document finishing

With its unique internal finisher the iR3570 allows customers to save space while retaining finishing functionality for professional looking documents. With a capacity of 1,000 A4 sheets and the option of a second finishing tray, this accessory is capable of collate and group, offset sort, stapling and various hole punching configurations. The addition of this finisher does not increase the overall footprint of the device making it ideal for busy offices where space is at a premium.

Two other finishers are also available providing extensive finishing capabilities including automatic saddle stitched booklet making, for professional-looking documents.
